  19. successful projects that stressed solid human drama over cinematic
  20. virtuosity: The Paper Chase, the story of a Harvard law school
  21. student that made a latter-day star of John Houseman; Urban
  22. Cowboy, the movie that made Debra Winger a star and solidified
  23. the star status of John Travolta; and The China Syndrome, with
  24. Jane Fonda and Jack Lemmon, a critical look at nuclear power,
  25. for which Bridges picked up a screenplay Oscar nomination.
